The joy of making something
Paper, a pencil, and a little imagination can be the start of something wonderful.
Start with what is nearby
Making does not need a perfect kit. A sheet of paper can become a folded shape, a map of an imagined place, or the first page of a story.
Try, change, try again
The first version is a beginning. Changing a small detail teaches something: a wider base, a different colour, a sentence in another order. Each attempt adds a little understanding.
Keep a trace
A sketch or a few words can record an idea before it disappears. A notebook of unfinished things is still a notebook full of possibilities.
An introductory note prepared for this space. Ray’s own stories will come in time.
