Keep a little room for questions
A good question can turn an ordinary moment into the start of an adventure.
Notice something small
A shadow moving across a wall. A pattern in a leaf. A sound you have heard a hundred times but never stopped to consider. Curiosity often begins by paying attention.
Write the question down
Try keeping a page of questions. They do not need to be clever, and they do not need immediate answers. “How does that work?” is a perfectly good place to start.
Follow one thread
Choose one question and explore it through a book, a simple experiment, or a conversation. Finding an answer is satisfying; finding a better question can be just as interesting.
